**Ugo Blanchet** (born 5 January 1999) is a French professional [tennis](/source/Tennis) player who plays mostly on the [ATP Challenger Tour](/source/ATP_Challenger_Tour). He has a career high [ATP](/source/Association_of_Tennis_Professionals) singles ranking of world No. 139 achieved on 30 September 2024. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of No. 387 achieved on 15 July 2024.[2]

## Professional career

### 2022: ATP doubles debut

In February, Blanchet made his [ATP Tour](/source/ATP_Tour) debut at the [2022 Open 13](/source/2022_Open_13) in Marseille after receiving a wildcard into the doubles main draw with [Timo Legout](/source/Timo_Legout). The pair went on to reach the quarterfinals, earning Blanchet his first ATP Tour doubles win.

### 2023: Maiden Challenger title, Top 200 debut

In October, Blanchet won his maiden [Challenger](/source/ATP_Challenger_Tour) title at the [2023 Málaga Open](/source/2023_M%C3%A1laga_Open) as a qualifier, defeating [Mattia Bellucci](/source/Mattia_Bellucci) in the final.[3] In November, Blanchet recorded his second ATP career win in doubles at the [2023 Moselle Open](/source/2023_Moselle_Open), playing along with [Matteo Martineau](/source/Matteo_Martineau), after the pair received a wildcard to the main draw.

### 2024: ATP singles debut and first win, Top 150

In January, Blanchet made his singles debut on the [ATP Tour](/source/ATP_Tour) as a qualifier at the [2024 Open Sud de France](/source/2024_Open_Sud_de_France) in [Montpellier](/source/Montpellier), losing to [Grégoire Barrère](/source/Gr%C3%A9goire_Barr%C3%A8re) in the first round.[4]

In April, Blanchet reached his second career [Challenger](/source/ATP_Challenger_Tour) final in [Oeiras](/source/2024_Open_de_Oeiras), Portugal, losing to fourth seed [Francisco Comesaña](/source/Francisco_Comesa%C3%B1a) in the final.[5]

In July, Blanchet won his first singles main draw match on the [ATP Tour](/source/ATP_Tour) at the [Hamburg Open](/source/2024_Hamburg_Open_%E2%80%93_Men's_singles) as a qualifier, defeating [Alexei Popyrin](/source/Alexei_Popyrin) in the first round.[6] As a result, he entered the top 150 in the singles rankings at No. 145 on 22 July 2024.[2]

### 2025: Masters, Major debut and third round

Blanchet won his second [Challenger](/source/ATP_Challenger_Tour) title at the [Koblenz Challenger](/source/2025_Koblenz_Open_%E2%80%93_Singles), defeating [Luca Nardi](/source/Luca_Nardi) in the final which went to a deciding set tiebreak.[7][8]

In May, Blanchet made his Grand Slam main draw debut at the [2025 French Open](/source/2025_French_Open_%E2%80%93_Men's_singles) as a qualifier.[9] He lost to [Hugo Gaston](/source/Hugo_Gaston) in the first round.[10]

In July, Blanchet made his [Masters 1000](/source/ATP_Masters_1000_tournaments) debut as a qualifier at the [2025 Canada Open](/source/2025_National_Bank_Open_%E2%80%93_Men's_singles) in Toronto.[11] He lost in the first round to [Roman Safiullin](/source/Roman_Safiullin).[12]
