Uchtepa borders with the districts of [Shaykhontohur](/source/Shaykhontohur) and [Chilanzar](/source/Chilanzar). It borders also with [Tashkent Province](/source/Tashkent_Province) and its northern area is close to the Uzbek frontier with [South Kazakhstan Province](/source/South_Kazakhstan_Province), in [Kazakhstan](/source/Kazakhstan).
