# Ubby

**Ubby** is a town with a population of 1,865 (1 January 2025),[1] in [Kalundborg Municipality](/source/Kalundborg_Municipality), [Region Zealand](/source/Region_Zealand) in [Denmark](/source/Denmark). The town consist of the former villages of Ubby on the western end of the town and Jerslev on the eastern end of the town.

Ubby was the municipal seat of the former [Hvidebæk Municipality](/source/Hvideb%C3%A6k) until 1 January 2007.[2]

The town is located northwest of lake [Tissø](/source/Tiss%C3%B8) 11 km southeast of [Kalundborg](/source/Kalundborg) and 12 km north of [Gørlev](/source/G%C3%B8rlev).
