# Tystigbreen

**Tystigbreen**[1] is a [glacier](/source/Glacier) in that is located in the Strynefjellet mountains of [Norway](/source/Norway). The glacier sits along the border between [Stryn Municipality](/source/Stryn_Municipality) in [Vestland](/source/Vestland) county and [Skjåk Municipality](/source/Skj%C3%A5k_Municipality) in [Innlandet](/source/Innlandet) county. The 21-square kilometre (8.1-square mile) glacier is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of the lake [Oppstrynsvatnet](/source/Oppstrynsvatnet). The [Norwegian National Road 15](/source/Norwegian_National_Road_15) passes the northwest side of the glacier. The mountains [Kvitlenova](/source/Kvitlenova) and [Mårådalsfjellet](/source/M%C3%A5r%C3%A5dalsfjellet) lie on the east side of the glacier. A summer ski center is located at the glacier.[2]
