# Tyrell Sales

**Tyrell Sales** (born January 1, 1986) is an American former professional [football](/source/American_football) player. He played in 2012 for the [Parma Panthers](/source/Parma_Panthers), a team based in [Parma](/source/Parma), Italy, that played in the top level of the [Italian Football League](/source/Italian_Football_League).

Sales played [college football](/source/College_football) as a [linebacker](/source/Linebacker) for the [Penn State Nittany Lions](/source/Penn_State_Nittany_Lions_football). He was signed as a [free agent](/source/Free_agent) by the [AFL's](/source/Arena_Football_League) [Jacksonville Sharks](/source/Jacksonville_Sharks) in 2010. He also had a workout for the [Indianapolis Colts](/source/Indianapolis_Colts), but did not make the team. He is a charter member of the Eta Alpha chapter of [Iota Phi Theta](/source/Iota_Phi_Theta) fraternity. Sales was inducted into the [Butler County](/source/Butler_County,_Pennsylvania) Sports Hall of Fame in 2020.[1]
