'''Two Step Moraine''' ({{coord|71|53|S|68|20|W|display=inline,title}}) is a small area of homogeneous fine morainic debris, in the south-facing [moraine](/source/moraine)s at the foot of [Two Step Cliffs](/source/Two_Step_Cliffs), situated in the southern portion of [Alexander Island](/source/Alexander_Island), [Antarctica](/source/Antarctica). Containing moist soil and two sub-glacial ponds, the feature is remarkable for its abundance of [moss](/source/moss)es, [algae](/source/algae), and [cyanobacteria](/source/cyanobacteria) in such a southerly location. The feature was named by [United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee](/source/United_Kingdom_Antarctic_Place-Names_Committee) in 1993 in association with Two Step Cliffs.
