The '''twenty lei''' banknote is one of the circulating denominations of the [Romanian lei](/source/Romanian_lei). 

The main color of the banknote is Olive green. It depicts heroine and soldier  [Ecaterina Teodoroiu](/source/Ecaterina_Teodoroiu) on the obverse and [Mausoleum of Mărășești](/source/Mausoleum_of_M%C4%83r%C4%83%C8%99e%C8%99ti) with [Victoria](/source/Nike_(mythology)) as depicted on the [Romanian Victory Medal](/source/Victory_Medal_(Romania)).

In 2021 [National Bank of Romania](/source/National_Bank_of_Romania) has officially presented the new 20-lei banknote, which has been put into circulation starting from [1 December](/source/Great_Union_Day) 2021.
