**Twamaya** was a political party in the [Comoros](/source/Comoros).

## History

Based in [Anjouan](/source/Anjouan), the party received 0.8% of the vote in the [1992 parliamentary elections](/source/Comorian_legislative_election%2C_1992). After the results in some constituencies were annulled, the party won a seat in the [Assembly of the Union](/source/Assembly_of_the_Union_of_the_Comoros) in the subsequent by-elections held in December.[1]
