# Tututepec Mixtec

**Tututepec Mixtec** is a [Mixtec language](/source/Mixtec_language) of Oaxaca, spoken in Santa María Acatepec, Santa Cruz Tututepec, [San Pedro Tututepec](/source/Villa_de_Tututepec_de_Melchor_Ocampo) and other towns. It is not close to other varieties of Mixtec.

Ethnologue estimates 61% intelligibility of [Ixtayutla Mixtec](/source/Ixtayutla_Mixtec), and 50% of [Pinotepa Mixtec](/source/Pinotepa_Mixtec).[1]
