**Tuctopunta**[1][2] (possibly from [Quechua](/source/Quechua_language) *tuqtu* broody hen, *punta* peak; ridge; first, before, in front of)[3][4][5] is a 5,343-metre (17,530-foot)[1][2] mountain in the [Cordillera Blanca](/source/Cordillera_Blanca) in the [Andes](/source/Andes) of [Peru](/source/Peru). It is located in the [Ancash Region](/source/Ancash_Region), [Huaraz Province](/source/Huaraz_Province), [Olleros District](/source/Olleros_District,_Huaraz). Tuctopunta lies northwest of [Tuctu](/source/Tuctu_(Ancash)) and southwest of [Uruashraju](/source/Uruashraju) and Arhuay.[6]
