***True Game*** is the only album by American hip hop duo [Mad CJ Mac](/source/CJ_Mac). It was released on May 23, 1995 via [Rap-A-Lot Records](/source/Rap-A-Lot_Records) and [Noo Trybe Records](/source/Noo_Trybe_Records). Recording sessions took place at the Crack House and at Master Sounds Studios in [Richmond, Virginia](/source/Richmond%2C_Virginia), at One Up Studio, at Echo Sound in [Los Angeles](/source/Los_Angeles), and at Digital Services in [Houston](/source/Houston). [Production](/source/Hip_hop_production) was handled by members Mad and [CJ Mac](/source/CJ_Mac), with [J. Prince](/source/James_Prince) serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from Poppa LQ, SexC, Tré Unique and J. Prince. The album peaked at number 41 on the US *[Billboard](/source/Billboard_(magazine))* [Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums](/source/Top_R%26B%2FHip-Hop_Albums).

Along with singles, [music videos](/source/Music_video) were released for the songs "Come and Take a Ride"[3] and "Powda Puff".[4]
