'''Trillemarka (Trillemarka-Rollagsfjell)''' is a {{Convert|147|km2|mi2|abbr=on}} [nature reserve](/source/nature_reserve) located in [Buskerud](/source/Buskerud), [Norway](/source/Norway).  It was created on December 13, 2002, and is located in the hilly and mountainous areas between [Nore](/source/Nore_(Norway)) in [Numedal](/source/Numedal) and [Solevann](/source/Solevann) in [Sigdal](/source/Sigdal), partially in the [municipalities](/source/List_of_municipalities_of_Norway) of [Sigdal](/source/Sigdal), [Nore og Uvdal](/source/Nore_og_Uvdal), and [Rollag](/source/Rollag).  The nature reserve consists of one of the largest [natural forest](/source/natural_forest) areas in central [Østlandet](/source/%C3%98stlandet) and includes [virgin forest](/source/virgin_forest) and 93 [red list species](/source/IUCN_Red_List).

The Norwegian government decided on January 8, 2008, that {{Convert|147|km2|mi2|abbr=on}} were to be protected. == Controversy ==
There has been a large controversy between [environmentalists](/source/environmentalism) and the owners of the forest. As a consequence of the debate there has been suggested four different sizes for an expansion of the nature reserve:

# 169&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup> (suggested by the governor)
