The [parish church](/source/parish_church), built on a slight elevation in the centre of the settlement, is dedicated to the [Holy Cross](/source/Feast_of_the_Cross) and belongs to the [Roman Catholic Diocese of Novo Mesto](/source/Roman_Catholic_Diocese_of_Novo_Mesto).
