**Tracey Lee** (born October 22, 1970) is an American [Hip-Hop](/source/Hip-Hop) artist and [entertainment lawyer](/source/Entertainment_lawyer). He became known in 1997 when his [single](/source/Single_(music)) "The Theme (It's Party Time)", which settled on [Billboard](/source/Billboard_(magazine))’s Top 100 for thirty-seven weeks became an overnight hit.[1] His debut album *Many Facez* followed on April 8, 1997.[2] As a rising star in hip-hop,[1] Tracey Lee also had the opportunity to collaborate with award-winning artists such as Busta Rhymes, Kanye West and [The Notorious B.I.G., with whom he released "Keep Your Hands High"](/source/The_Notorious_B.I.G.).[3] Lee also made a guest appearance on [Changing Faces](/source/Changing_Faces_(group))' "Goin' Nowhere", a song from the album *[All Day, All Night](/source/All_Day,_All_Night)*. Lee appeared on national television shows such as [BET](/source/BET) *[Rap City](/source/Rap_City_(BET_program)): The Basement*, BET *[Teen Summit](/source/Teen_Summit)*, *[The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show](/source/The_Keenen_Ivory_Wayans_Show)*, and [HBO](/source/HBO) Original Series: *[Arliss](/source/Arliss_(TV_series))*. Lee released his album *ESQ: The Revelation* in October 2014 on his independent label LLeft Entertainment with distribution from [TuneCore](/source/TuneCore). He has since released two additional independent projects, *Expect The Unexpected* (2019) and *Glory* (2020). In Fall of 2016 Lee joined the faculty staff of [Coppin State University](/source/Coppin_State_University) as an adjunct professor teaching The Business of Music course.

Lee is a [graduate](/source/Graduation) of [Howard University](/source/Howard_University), receiving an undergraduate degree in Communication and a Juris Doctor degree from [Southern University Law Center](/source/Southern_University_Law_Center). Some of his legal clients have included: Grammy-nominated artist [Eric Roberson](/source/Eric_Roberson), Invisible Productions (for [Kelly Rowland](/source/Kelly_Rowland), [Solange Knowles](/source/Solange_Knowles) and [Kobe Bryant](/source/Kobe_Bryant)) and DJ [Young Guru](/source/Young_Guru) (tour DJ & Engineer for [Jay-Z](/source/Jay-Z)).[4]
