# Tozin

**Welliton de Moraes Coimbra**, known as **Tozin** or **Tozim** (born 10 November 1984), is a Brazilian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays for [Interporto](/source/Interporto_Futebol_Clube). He has played abroad in China, Japan and Saudi Arabia.

## Career

Tozin spent his early career on loan from [Gurupi](/source/Gurupi_Esporte_Clube) to various clubs competing in Brazilian state football. In July 2007 he signed a 1-year deal with [Legião](/source/Legi%C3%A3o_Futebol_Clube). The team finished as the runner-up of [Campeonato Brasiliense Second Division](/source/Campeonato_Brasiliense_(lower_levels)). In May 2008 he was signed by [Corinthians Alagoano](/source/Sport_Club_Corinthians_Alagoano) on a three-year contract and left for fellow [Alagoas](/source/Alagoas) club [CRB](/source/Clube_de_Regatas_Brasil) on loan. His loan was ended early on 29 October, a few weeks before the end of [2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B](/source/2008_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_B).

In February 2009 he moved on loan to [J2 League](/source/J2_League) club [Sagan Tosu](/source/Sagan_Tosu).[1] Tozin returned to [Maceió](/source/Macei%C3%B3) in January 2010. Corinthians Alagoano finished as the losing semi-finalists of 2010 [Campeonato Alagoano](/source/Campeonato_Alagoano). In May he left on loan again to [Guaratinguetá](/source/Americana_Futebol) and made a few appearances in [2010 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B](/source/2010_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_B). In September he had a further loan spell with [Metropolitano](/source/Clube_Atl%C3%A9tico_Metropolitano) in [2010 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D](/source/2010_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_D).

Tozin's contract with Corinthians Alagoano was extended to in January 2011 for a further two years, and he moved to [Chinese Super League](/source/Chinese_Super_League) side [Nanchang Hengyuan](/source/Nanchang_Hengyuan_F.C.) on a one-year loan deal.[2] However, he returned to Corinthians Alagoano in March without playing a match in China. He was immediately loaned again to [Cuiabá](/source/Cuiab%C3%A1_Esporte_Clube).

In January 2012, Tozin joined [J1 League](/source/J1_League) side [Sagan Tosu](/source/Sagan_Tosu) on a one-year loan deal.[3]

Tozin was loaned to [Luverdense](/source/Luverdense_Esporte_Clube) for 2013, but was released for disciplinary reasons by the club in October, despite being top scorer in [2013 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C](/source/2013_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_C) at the time.[4] Later in the year it was announced that he would join [CRB](/source/Clube_de_Regatas_Brasil) on loan for the 2014 season.[5] After two appearances in [2014 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C](/source/2014_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_C) he moved to [Metropolitano](/source/Clube_Atl%C3%A9tico_Metropolitano) for a second loan spell, competing in [Série D](/source/2014_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_D).[6][7]

Tozin spent 2015 on loan with [Aparecidense](/source/Associa%C3%A7%C3%A3o_Atl%C3%A9tica_Aparecidense) and [Luverdense](/source/Luverdense_Esporte_Clube), where he scored 13 goals in [2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B](/source/2015_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_B). He was announced as a signing for Aparecidense for the 2016 season, but instead moved to Saudi Arabia, joining [Najran SC](/source/Najran_SC).[8][9] He returned to Brazil, for a third spellwith Luverdense, in June 2016.[10]

Tozin joined Aparecidense again in 2017, featuring firstly in the [Campeonato Goiano](/source/Campeonato_Goiano), where he notably scored a volley from a corner kick in the first game of the competition, a feat he was invited by Globo Esporte to reproduce in front of the cameras.[11][12] He went on to feature in all eight of the clubs [2017 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D](/source/2017_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_D) matches. At the end of the campaign he joined [Parauapebas](/source/Parauapebas_Futebol_Clube) for the remainder of the [Campeonato Paraense](/source/Campeonato_Paraense) Second Division season, but was released before the final took place.[13]

Tozin signed for [Treze](/source/Treze_Futebol_Clube) for the [2018 Campeonato Paraibano](/source/2018_Campeonato_Paraibano) season.[14] He left midway through the championship, joining [Gurupi](/source/Gurupi_Esporte_Clube) to play in the [Campeonato Tocantinense](/source/Campeonato_Tocantinense) where he was top scorer with 13 goals.[15][16] At the end of that competition he signed for [CRAC](/source/Clube_Recreativo_e_Atl%C3%A9tico_Catalano) in the second division of [Campeonato Goiano](/source/Campeonato_Goiano), where he made just two appearances. By late September he had moved on again, to [Sport Club Guaraí](/source/Sport_Club_Guara%C3%AD) who were engaged in the second division of the Campeonato Tocantinense.[17]

Tozin started 2019 with [Palmas](/source/Palmas_Futebol_e_Regatas) for the 2019 Campeonato Tocantinense and [2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D](/source/2019_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_D).[18] in June, with Palmas knocked out of Série D he signed for a fourth spell with Luverdense, playing in [2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C](/source/2018_Campeonato_Brasileiro_S%C3%A9rie_C).[19] In November he joined Capital Futebol Clube in the second division of Campeonato Tocantinense, where he helped the team to win the title.[20]

On 20 January 2020, Tozin signed for [Interporto Futebol Clube](/source/Interporto_Futebol_Clube) for the 2020 Campeonato Tocantinense.[21]
