# Touch FM

The **Touch FM** network was a group of [Independent Local Radio](/source/Independent_Local_Radio) stations owned by Quidem. The network included stations in [Coventry](/source/Coventry), [South Staffordshire](/source/South_Staffordshire), [Warwick](/source/Warwick), [Stratford-upon-Avon](/source/Stratford-upon-Avon), [Nuneaton](/source/Nuneaton) & [Hinckley](/source/Hinckley), [Loughborough](/source/Loughborough), [Banbury](/source/Banbury) and [Rugby](/source/Rugby,_Warwickshire).

The network of stations are listed below.

[Oak FM](/source/Oak_FM), which served the [Hinckley](/source/Hinckley), [Nuneaton](/source/Nuneaton) and [Loughborough](/source/Loughborough) areas, was formerly owned by the [Lincs FM Group](/source/Lincs_FM_Group) until 2012, when it was acquired by Quidem.[1] [Oak FM](/source/Oak_FM) and [Touch FM (Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth)](/source/Touch_FM_(Burton,_Lichfield_and_Tamworth)) broadcast from a studio centre in [Coalville](/source/Coalville), [Leicestershire](/source/Leicestershire). Oak FM was sold to ATR Media in 2015 and later ceased broadcasting in July 2016 after running into financial difficulties.[2]

All of Quidem's stations were broadcast from a studio in [Honiley](/source/Honiley), near [Kenilworth](/source/Kenilworth) in [Warwickshire](/source/Warwickshire).

## Station rebrands

In September 2019, Quidem announced it had entered a brand licensing agreement with Global, citing financial losses.[3] Two months later, following permission from regulator, [Ofcom](/source/Ofcom) to change the station's format,[4] it was confirmed that Quidem's stations would merge and launch as [Capital Mid-Counties](/source/Capital_Mid-Counties) on 2 December 2019.[5]

The Touch FM stations, Rugby FM and Banbury Sound ceased broadcasting at 7pm on Friday 29 November 2019.
