The '''Torpy River''' is a tributary of the [Fraser River](/source/Fraser_River), rising in the [Northern Rockies](/source/Rocky_Mountains) and the [McGregor Range](/source/McGregor_Range), a subdivision of the [McGregor Plateau](/source/McGregor_Plateau), and forming the boundary between the Rockies and the McGregor Plateau.
