**Topik** or **topig** ([Armenian](/source/Armenian_language): Թոփիկ) is an [Armenian](/source/Armenian_cuisine) dish, sometimes thought of as a vegetarian [meatball](/source/Meatball), consisting of a [chickpea](/source/Chickpea)- based paste, usually mixed with [potatoes](/source/Potato) or [flour](/source/Flour), surrounding a filling of [onions](/source/Onion), [nuts](/source/Nut_(fruit)), and [currants](/source/Zante_currant), and flavored with [herbs](/source/Herb), [spices](/source/Spice), and [tahini](/source/Tahini).
