***Top Gear Motorsport*** is a [British television](/source/British_television) programme, covering various forms of [motor racing](/source/Motor_racing), broadcast on [BBC Two](/source/BBC_Two) from 1994 to 1998.[1] It was a spin-off programme from the popular motoring series *[Top Gear](/source/Top_Gear_(1977_TV_series))*. The programme was presented by former [Formula One](/source/Formula_One) driver and *[Top Gear](/source/Top_Gear_(1977_TV_series))* presenter [Tiff Needell](/source/Tiff_Needell).[2] Other presenters were [Penny Mallory](/source/Penny_Mallory), [Tony Mason](/source/Tony_Mason_(co-driver)), [Steve Berry](/source/Steve_Berry_(presenter)), Mark James and Bob Constanduros.

The series covered a wide variety of motor racing categories from across the world, including the [World Rally Championship](/source/World_Rally_Championship), the [British Rally Championship](/source/British_Rally_Championship), British [Formula Three](/source/Formula_Three), [Formula Renault](/source/Formula_Renault), and Formula Vauxhall Junior, [British Superbikes](/source/British_Superbike), and Eurocars, German Touring Car Championship, European Truck Racing Championship.
