# Tony Penberthy

**Anthony Leonard Penberthy** (born 1 September 1969) is a former [cricketer](/source/Cricket) who spent his entire career at [Northamptonshire County Cricket Club](/source/Northamptonshire_County_Cricket_Club). He joined the club in 1989. In 1992 he helped Northamptonshire to win the [NatWest Trophy](/source/1992_NatWest_Trophy).[1] He received his [county cap](/source/Cap_(sport)#Cricket) in 1994 and was released in 2003. Penberthy continued [Minor County cricket](/source/Minor_County_cricket) for [Norfolk](/source/Norfolk_County_Cricket_Club) and [Cornwall](/source/Cornwall_County_Cricket_Club) until 2006.[2][3][4]
