**Anthony Newell** (born 5 April 1982) is an English former professional [darts](/source/Darts) player who competed in [Professional Darts Corporation](/source/Professional_Darts_Corporation) events.[2]

## Career

Newell earned a [PDC Tour Card](/source/PDC_Tour_Card) in 2014 and 2016, and qualified for the [2016 UK Open](/source/2016_UK_Open), but lost in the third round to [Adrian Lewis](/source/Adrian_Lewis).

In 2021 he announced that he intended to make a comeback to the sport.[3]
