# Tony Collard

**Tony Collard** (born 28 July 1961) is a Dutch former professional [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey) player.

Collard played junior hockey in [Canada](/source/Canada) with the [London Knights](/source/London_Knights) of the [Ontario Hockey Association](/source/Ontario_Hockey_Association) (OHA). He began his professional career in 1980 with the [Heerenveen Flyers](/source/Heerenveen_Flyers), remaining with the team until 1985 when he relocated to [Austria](/source/Austria) to play with [Klagenfurter AC](/source/Klagenfurter_AC) until 1989. During this period he also skated in five games with [EV Zug](/source/EV_Zug) in the Swiss [National League A](/source/National_League_A).

## International

Collard was a long time member of the [Netherlands men's national ice hockey team](/source/Netherlands_men's_national_ice_hockey_team), and he competed with Team Netherlands at the [1981 World Ice Hockey Championships](/source/1981_World_Ice_Hockey_Championships).
