**Tom LeDuc** (August 21, 1957 – October 4, 1989), also known by the aliases **Tommy LeDuc**, **Tom Le Duc**, and **Kim LaRue**, was an American bodybuilder and adult film actor.[1] He became a prominent figure in the gay adult industry during the 1980s, recognized for his hyper-masculine aesthetic and role in popularizing "muscle" and "leather" archetypes in queer media.[2]

## Early life and military service

LeDuc was born in 1957 in [Philadelphia](/source/Philadelphia), U.S..[3] He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, an experience that contributed to his disciplined physique and rugged public persona.[3] His military service is often cited as a foundational element of the hyper-masculine image he maintained throughout his later career.[4]

## Career
