# Tom Glesby

**Thomas Glesby** (born July 17, 1969) is a Canadian former [professional boxer](/source/Professional_boxer) who competed from 1993 to 2001. As an amateur, he competed at the [Summer Olympics](/source/Boxing_at_the_Summer_Olympics): in 1988 and 1992. Nicknamed "The Bomb" he won the bronze medal in the men's [heavyweight](/source/Heavyweight) division at the [1991 Pan American Games](/source/1991_Pan_American_Games) in [Havana](/source/Havana), [Cuba](/source/Cuba).
