Among his many pupils were [Billy Boyd](/source/Billy_Boyd_(actor)), actor (''[The Lord of the Rings](/source/The_Lord_of_the_Rings_(film_series))''), and Cameron McKenna, [voice-over](/source/voice-over) artist (BBC and STV announcer). Busby also directed [comedian](/source/comedian) [Chic Murray](/source/Chic_Murray) in another version of ''[A Christmas Carol](/source/A_Christmas_Carol)'' shown in 1992 on the [BBC](/source/BBC). {{citation needed|date=February 2014}}
