He has designed in dozens of theaters across the country including The Manhattan Theatre Club, the Public, Playwrights Horizons, Second Stage, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Hartford Stage, McCarter Theatre, Yale Rep., Shakespeare Theatre DC, Indiana Rep., CenterStage, Opera Theatre of St. Louis and Williamstown.

He is a 1984 graduate of [Wabash College](/source/Wabash_College) and a graduate of the [Yale School of Drama](/source/Yale_School_of_Drama).  He is a 1980 graduate of Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana.
