# Toechima

***Toechima*** is a genus of small to medium-sized [trees](/source/Tree) in the plant family [Sapindaceae](/source/Sapindaceae). The species are native to [New South Wales](/source/New_South_Wales), the [Northern Territory](/source/Northern_Territory) and [Queensland](/source/Queensland) in Australia as well as New Guinea.

Eight species (including one [undescribed](/source/Undescribed_species)) recognised by the [Australian Plant Census](/source/Australian_Plant_Census)[1] and by the Census of Vascular Plants of Papua New Guinea[2] are:
