# Tioga Inn

The **Tioga Inn** in [Chanute, Kansas](/source/Chanute,_Kansas) was built in 1929. Over the years it has also been known as **The Tioga Hotel**, **The Tioga**, and **The Jones' Building**. It was listed on the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places) in 1990.[1] It is a six-story 100-room [hotel](/source/Hotel) which dominates the skyline of Chanute.[2]

It was designed and constructed by Chanute contractor John W. Pratt.[2]
