**Tim Whitby** is a British [screenwriter](/source/Screenwriter), [television producer](/source/Television_producer) and [director](/source/Television_director). His works include the 2003 costume drama *[Servants](/source/Servants_(TV_series))*, the [ITV](/source/ITV_(TV_network)) drama series *[Cold Feet](/source/Cold_Feet)*, the [BBC](/source/BBC) drama *[The Indian Doctor](/source/The_Indian_Doctor)* and the comedy series *[Mine All Mine](/source/Mine_All_Mine)*. Single dramas "The Best of Men" and "In Love with Barbara" He was also a producer on *[Bramwell](/source/Bramwell_(TV_series))* "Our Girl" Gap year" and *[Tripping Over](/source/Tripping_Over)*.

Whitby featured as the producer of the final series of *[Shameless](/source/Shameless_(UK_TV_series))* taking over from Ed McCardie. Whitby has directed four episodes of the series.
