He won the *Barclaycard World Freerun Championship* in 2009 and participated on the television programme [MTV](/source/MTV)'s *[Ultimate Parkour Challenge](/source/Ultimate_Parkour_Challenge)*. He has also competed on *[American Ninja Warrior](/source/American_Ninja_Warrior)* and *[Ninja Warrior UK](/source/Ninja_Warrior_UK)*. ## Career Shieff won the 2009 *Barclaycard World Freerun Championship*[1] and participated on the television programme [MTV](/source/MTV)'s [Ultimate Parkour Challenge](/source/Ultimate_Parkour_Challenge).[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*] In 2013, Shieff filmed himself climbing and running along the [Derby](/source/Derby) skyline. After concerns from the police, he clarified that he practised the moves and the route beforehand.[2] Shieff took part in the filming of *[Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows](/source/Harry_Potter_and_the_Deathly_Hallows)*, in the role of a [Death Eater](/source/Death_Eater).[3] ## Personal life He had been a [vegan](/source/Veganism) since 2012 due to ethical and health reasons.[4] In 2018, while trying to heal some gut problems, he had a meal of salmon and raw eggs, but said it wasn't something he'd do again.[5][6] As a result, vegan clothing company ETHCS dropped him from their label.[7] In April 2019, Tim appeared on [ITV](/source/ITV_(TV_channel))'s This Morning, and explained his decision to discontinue veganism for health reasons.[8] ## Health improvement Shieff supports various unconventional methods to improve health.
