**Timothy Sherwin** (born May 4, 1958) is an American former professional [football](/source/American_football) player who was a [tight end](/source/Tight_end) for seven seasons in the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL) with the [Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts](/source/Indianapolis_Colts) and [New York Giants](/source/New_York_Giants). He played [college football](/source/College_football) for the [Boston College Eagles](/source/Boston_College_Eagles_football). He was selected by the Colts in the fourth round of the [1981 NFL draft](/source/1981_NFL_draft) with the 94th overall pick.[1]
