'''''Three Problems for Solar Pons''''' is a collection of [detective fiction](/source/detective_fiction) [short stories](/source/short_stories) by American writer [August Derleth](/source/August_Derleth). It was released in [1952](/source/1952_in_literature) by [Mycroft & Moran](/source/Mycroft_%26_Moran) in an edition of 996 copies. It was the third collection of Derleth's [Solar Pons](/source/Solar_Pons) stories which are [pastiches](/source/pastiches) of the [Sherlock Holmes](/source/Sherlock_Holmes) tales of [Arthur Conan Doyle](/source/Arthur_Conan_Doyle). The book was intended as an interim collection and all the stories are reprinted in ''[The Return of Solar Pons](/source/The_Return_of_Solar_Pons)''. Because of the low print run, it is the scarcest Mycroft & Moran book.

The dustjacket was by artist Ronald Clyne.
