"**Three Minute Hero**" is a song and [single](/source/Single_(music)) written by [Neol Davies](/source/Neol_Davies) and performed by the English [2 tone](/source/Two-tone_(music_genre)) [ska](/source/Ska) revival band [the Selecter](/source/The_Selecter).[1] It is the opening track on side one of their debut studio album *[Too Much Pressure](/source/Too_Much_Pressure)*. Released in 1980, the song spent six weeks on the [UK Singles Chart](/source/UK_singles_chart).,[2][1] peaking at number 16.
