***Three Color Fantasy*** ([Korean](/source/Korean_language): 세가지 색 판타지; [RR](/source/Revised_Romanization_of_Korean): *Segaji saek pantaji*) is a South Korean Three-color drama trilogy by [MBC](/source/Munhwa_Broadcasting_Corporation) and [Naver](/source/Naver) consisting of three mini television series *[The Universe's Star](/source/The_Universe's_Star)* *(White)*, *[Romance Full of Life](/source/Romance_Full_of_Life)* *(Green)* and [*Queen of the Ring*](/source/Queen_of_the_Ring_(TV_series)) *(Gold)*. The dramas started airing on [Naver TV Cast](/source/Naver#Naver_NOW) every Tuesday at midnight starting on January 24 and on [MBC](/source/Munhwa_Broadcasting_Corporation) every Thursday at 23:10 ([KST](/source/Time_in_South_Korea)) starting on January 26, 2017.[1]

## Production

The drama trilogy was entirely pre-produced and co-produced between [Naver](/source/Naver) and [iMBC](/source/Munhwa_Broadcasting_Corporation).[2]

*The Universe's Star* was written and directed by Kim Ji-hyun who is known for *[Splash Splash Love](/source/Splash_Splash_Love)*, which won an award at the 20th AsiaTV Awards as the best short drama.[3][*[unreliable source?](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources)*]

*Romance Full of Life* marks the directing debut of the director Park Sang-hoon and his second work after directing the movie *A Mere Life*. The screenwriter Park Eun-young is known for his drama *[Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth](/source/Hwarang%3A_The_Poet_Warrior_Youth)*.

*Queen of the Ring's* director Kwon Sung-chan is known for his drama *[One More Happy Ending](/source/One_More_Happy_Ending)*, and the drama is the second work for the screenwriter Kim A-jung, after writing the scenario for *[Divorce Lawyer in Love](/source/Divorce_Lawyer_in_Love)* drama.

The first script reading for the dramas took place in September and in October at MBC Broadcasting Station in [Sangam](/source/Sangam-dong), South Korea.[4][5]
