# Thomas Pullyson

**Thomas Pullyson** (died 1617) was an English draper and [Lord Mayor of London](/source/List_of_Lord_Mayors_of_London).

He was [Sheriff of London](/source/Sheriff_of_London) in 1574 and then Lord Mayor for 1584, during the reign of [Elizabeth I](/source/Elizabeth_I_of_England). He applied, unsuccessfully, for the theatres to be closed.[1] He was succeeded by [Wolstan Dixie](/source/Wolstan_Dixie).
