**Thomas H. Bussey** (February 25, 1857 [Troy](/source/Troy,_New_York), [Rensselaer County, New York](/source/Rensselaer_County,_New_York) – March 9, 1937, New York City) was an American politician from [New York](/source/New_York_(state)).[1]

## Life

Bussey attended [Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute](/source/Rensselaer_Polytechnic_Institute). He was superintendent of a knitting mill in Perry. He was at times Supervisor of the [Town of Perry](/source/Perry,_New_York); President of the [Village of Perry](/source/Perry_(village),_New_York); and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of [Wyoming County, New York](/source/Wyoming_County,_New_York).[1]

Bussey was a member of the [New York State Senate](/source/New_York_State_Senate) (44th D.)[2] from 1911 to 1914, sitting in the [134th](/source/134th_New_York_State_Legislature), [135th](/source/135th_New_York_State_Legislature), [136th](/source/136th_New_York_State_Legislature) and [137th New York State Legislatures](/source/137th_New_York_State_Legislature). He was a member of the New York State Commission for the [Panama–Pacific International Exposition](/source/Panama%E2%80%93Pacific_International_Exposition) in 1915.[3]

## Death

He died on March 9, 1937, in New York City and was buried in [Pipersville, Pennsylvania](/source/Bedminster_Township,_Bucks_County,_Pennsylvania).[4]
