# Thomas Bohrer

**Thomas Robert Bohrer** (born August 6, 1963) is an American [rower](/source/Rowing_(sport)). He has won two silver medals in the men's [coxless fours](/source/Coxless_four). One at the [1992 Summer Olympics](/source/1992_Summer_Olympics) in Barcelona and the other at the [1988 Summer Olympics](/source/1988_Summer_Olympics) in Seoul along with [Richard Kennelly](/source/Richard_Kennelly), [David Krmpotich](/source/David_Krmpotich), and [Raoul Rodriguez](/source/Raoul_Rodriguez).[1] He competed for the [Penn Athletic Club Rowing Association](/source/Penn_Athletic_Club_Rowing_Association)[2] under head coach, [Ted Nash (rower)](/source/Ted_Nash_(rower)).

Born in [West Islip, New York](/source/West_Islip,_New_York), he is a 1986 graduate of [Florida Institute of Technology](/source/Florida_Institute_of_Technology) and has been head coach of [Boston University](/source/Boston_University) men's crew since 2008. He was inducted into the [Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame](/source/Suffolk_Sports_Hall_of_Fame) on Long Island in the Boating & Nautical Category with the Class of 1990.
