**Thomas Auracher** (born 14 December 1969) is a German [sailor](/source/Sailing_(sport)) who competed in the [2000 Summer Olympics](/source/Sailing_at_the_2000_Summer_Olympics) in the star class finishing 12th overall.[1] He has won a total of five [World championships in sailing](/source/World_championships_in_sailing) in the [Tempest](/source/Tempest_(keelboat)) and [5.5 metre](/source/5.5_metre).
