***This Side*** is the [Grammy](/source/Grammy)-winning second major album release by the progressive bluegrass band [Nickel Creek](/source/Nickel_Creek), released on [Sugar Hill](/source/Sugar_Hill_Records_(bluegrass)) in the summer of 2002. It gained attention in [indie rock](/source/Indie_rock) circles due to the group's recording of a [Pavement](/source/Pavement_(band)) song, "[Spit on a Stranger](/source/Spit_on_a_Stranger)". [Alison Krauss](/source/Alison_Krauss) acted as a producer for the album.
