Canadian production designer and animator

**Thea Hollatz** is a Canadian production designer and animator, whose animated short film *[Hot Flash](/source/Hot_Flash_(film))* was the winner of the [Canadian Screen Award](/source/Canadian_Screen_Award) for [Best Animated Short](/source/Canadian_Screen_Award_for_Best_Animated_Short) at the [9th Canadian Screen Awards](/source/9th_Canadian_Screen_Awards) in 2021.[1]

As a production designer, she received a nomination for [Best Art Direction/Production Design](/source/Canadian_Screen_Award_for_Best_Art_Direction%2FProduction_Design) at the [12th Canadian Screen Awards](/source/12th_Canadian_Screen_Awards) in 2024 for her work on the film *[Fitting In](/source/Fitting_In)*.[2]
