***The Love Contract*** is a 1932 British [musical film](/source/Musical_film) directed by [Herbert Selpin](/source/Herbert_Selpin) and starring [Winifred Shotter](/source/Winifred_Shotter), [Owen Nares](/source/Owen_Nares) and [Sunday Wilshin](/source/Sunday_Wilshin).[1] The screenplay concerns a young woman who becomes the driver of a wealthy [stockbroker](/source/Stockbroker) who lost her family's savings. It was based on a play by [Jean de Letraz](/source/Jean_de_Letraz), Suzette Desty and Roger Blum. It was produced by [Herbert Wilcox](/source/Herbert_Wilcox)'s company [British & Dominions Film Corporation](/source/British_%26_Dominions_Film_Corporation).[2] Alternate language versions were made in French (*[Conduisez-moi Madame](/source/Conduisez-moi_Madame)*) and in German (*[Chauffeur Antoinette](/source/Chauffeur_Antoinette)*), both of which were also directed by Selpin.
