***The Ik*** is a 1975 play by [Colin Higgins](/source/Colin_Higgins) and [Denis Cannan](/source/Denis_Cannan) adapted from the 1972 book by [Colin Turnbull](/source/Colin_Turnbull) about the [Ik people](/source/Ik_people) titled *The Mountain People*.

It was devised with director [Peter Brook](/source/Peter_Brook).
