## Production

[Principal photography](/source/Principal_photography) took place in Georgia, Nashville, and New York.[1] It received support from the Catapult Film Fund.[2]

## Release

It had its world premiere at the [51st Telluride Film Festival](/source/51st_Telluride_Film_Festival) on August 30, 2024.[3] It also screened at the [RiverRun International Film Festival](/source/RiverRun_International_Film_Festival),[4] and the [Woods Hole Film Festival](/source/Woods_Hole_Film_Festival).[5] In April 2026, Persimmon acquired distribution rights to the film, and set it for a June 3, 2026, release, prior to [video on demand](/source/Video_on_demand) in August.[6][7]
