'''The Comes''' was a Japanese [hardcore punk](/source/hardcore_punk) band formed in Tokyo, Japan in 1982. They were one of the first [Japanese hardcore](/source/Japanese_hardcore) bands alongside [GISM](/source/GISM), [Gauze](/source/Gauze_(band)) and Lip Cream. The Comes were fronted by female vocalist Chitose,<ref>{{cite web|title=The Comes|url=http://www.chokai.ne.jp/joe/COMES.htm|accessdate=8 March 2015}}</ref> who went to sing in the metal band Virgin Rocks. Chitose was the first vocalist of female-fronted hardcore punk bands to gain fame.
