**Thameed** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): الثميد) is a town in [Emirate of Sharjah](/source/Emirate_of_Sharjah), [United Arab Emirates (UAE)](/source/United_Arab_Emirates). It is part of [Al Madam](/source/Al_Madam) municipality and is located between [Dubai](/source/Dubai) and [Hatta](/source/Hatta%2C_United_Arab_Emirates), off the [Dhaid](/source/Dhaid)/[Madam](/source/Al_Madam) highway (E55).[1] It has a police station and a youth center.[2][3] Thameed also has wheat farms.[4]

As of 1st July 2017, Thameed had an estimated population of 1,650.
