## Career

Earlier Thaha worked as an assistant director in films including *[Rajavinte Makan](/source/Rajavinte_Makan)*, *[Bhoomiyile Rajakkanmar](/source/Bhoomiyile_Rajakkanmar)*, *[Kakkothikkavile Appooppan Thaadikal](/source/Kakkothikkavile_Appooppan_Thaadikal)*, and *[Varnam](/source/Varnam)* to directors such as [Kamal](/source/Kamal_(director)) and [Thampi Kannanthanam](/source/Thampi_Kannanthanam). In 1991, he co-directed with Ashokan the film *[Mookkillarajyathu](/source/Mookkillarajyathu)*, as Ashokan-Thaha. Later he went on to direct films independently.
