# Texas Valley

**Texas Valley** is the name of two valleys in [Floyd County](/source/Floyd_County,_Georgia), in the [U.S. state](/source/U.S._state) of [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(U.S._state)).

The twin valleys are more precisely called **Big Texas Valley**[1] and **Little Texas Valley**.[2] There are two stories on the origin of the name Texas Valley; both involve pioneers who were passing through on their way to [Texas](/source/Texas).[3]
