**Tevin Slater** (born 13 January 1994) is a [Saint Vincent and the Grenadines](/source/Saint_Vincent_and_the_Grenadines) [footballer](/source/Association_footballer) who plays for [Parham FC](/source/Parham_FC) of the [Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division](/source/Antigua_and_Barbuda_Premier_Division). He has 12 caps for the [national team](/source/Saint_Vincent_and_the_Grenadines_national_football_team) and has scored 8 times. In 2015, he was named the Senior Footballer of the Year by the [Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation](/source/Saint_Vincent_and_the_Grenadines_Football_Federation).[2][3]

## Career

### Club

In late September 2015, it was announced that Slater had signed for [Parham FC](/source/Parham_FC) of the [Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division](/source/Antigua_and_Barbuda_Premier_Division). He had previously played for [Camdonia Chelsea SC](/source/Camdonia_Chelsea_SC).[4]

### International

Slater made his debut for [Saint Vincent and the Grenadines](/source/Saint_Vincent_and_the_Grenadines_national_football_team) during the [2014 Windward Islands Tournament](/source/2014_Windward_Islands_Tournament) in their 3-2 win over host nation [Dominica](/source/Dominica_national_football_team).[5] His first international goal came during a 2-2 draw against [Barbados](/source/Barbados_national_football_team).[6] Slater's next goal would come during qualification to the [2018 FIFA World Cup](/source/2018_FIFA_World_Cup) when he scored in a 2-2 draw against [Guyana](/source/Guyana_national_football_team).[7][8]

## Personal life

In October 2018, Slater was injured in a car accident that killed one and injured two others.[10]
