He played in the [National Hockey League](/source/National_Hockey_League) with the [Boston Bruins](/source/Boston_Bruins) and [Montreal Canadiens](/source/Montreal_Canadiens) between 1939 and 1947

Boston engraved his name on the [Stanley Cup](/source/Stanley_Cup) in [1939](/source/1939_Stanley_Cup_Finals), even though he only played four regular season games with the club. Reardon won the Stanley Cup again in [1941](/source/1941_Stanley_Cup_Finals) with the Bruins as a full-time member.

His brother, [Ken Reardon](/source/Ken_Reardon), played in the NHL with the [Montreal Canadiens](/source/Montreal_Canadiens) winning the Stanley Cup in 1946, and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
