**State Route 314** (**SR 314**), also known as **Parksville Road**, is a 6.1-mile-long (9.8 km) state highway in [Polk County, Tennessee](/source/Polk_County%2C_Tennessee), connecting the town of [Benton](/source/Benton%2C_Tennessee) with the community of [Parksville](/source/Parksville%2C_Tennessee) and the [Cherokee National Forest](/source/Cherokee_National_Forest).

## Route description

SR 314 begins in [Parksville](/source/Parksville%2C_Tennessee) at an intersection with [US 64](/source/U.S._Route_64_in_Tennessee)/[US 74](/source/U.S._Route_74_in_Tennessee) ([Ocoee Scenic Byway](/source/Ocoee_Scenic_Byway)/[SR 40](/source/Tennessee_State_Route_40)) just north of [Ocoee Dam No. 1](/source/Ocoee_Dam_No._1) (Parksville Dam). It goes north through farmland along the western edge of the [Cherokee National Forest](/source/Cherokee_National_Forest) before curving to the west and entering [Benton](/source/Benton%2C_Tennessee). SR 314 then comes to an end at an intersection with [US 411](/source/U.S._Route_411_in_Tennessee) ([SR 33](/source/Tennessee_State_Route_33)). The entire route of SR 314 is a two-lane Highway.[2]
